Exhibitor Service Kit Now Available
Freeman Decorating is the official decorator for CEC 2009. All information regarding ordering services such as electricity, furniture, and lead retrieval can be found in the Exhibitor Service Kit. Please be mindful of deadlines, as they may be different from vendor to vendor. In helping to “green” the Convention, no hard copy kits will be mailed. Please note that you should receive an email from Freeman within 48 hours of receiving your confirmation letter with your login information to access the service kit. If you have problems with your log-in or do not receive your log-in information, please call Freeman Online Customer Support Center at 888-508-5054.
Approved vendors for the Convention
Please be aware that while you have the right to use any vendor for the Convention, choosing non-official / approved vendors may end up costing you more in the end. Please use only the official vendors for CEC 2009. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact Amy Durkin.

Effective January 1, 2009, the attached information is required by the Seattle Fire Marshal’s Office for booths at trade shows or otherwise used for display within the City of Seattle limits.

SCAM ALERT about Expo Guide!
IAEE (the International Association of Exhibition and Events) and the Council for Exceptional Children wish to caution you about the company Expo Guide (www.expo-guide.com). The company may target CEC 2009 Expo exhibitors for a 3-year advertisement commitment that is disguised as an offer of a free directory listing. Be wary of any offers for free directory listings that may come your way from Expo-Guide (or others not listed as Official CEC Expo Contractors). All CEC 2009 exhibitors receive a free listing in the CEC 2009 Convention Program. Any changes to your profile should be done online under "booth profile" management or sent to CEC directly. If you are a U.S. company that has been targeted by either organization, it is important to lodge a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
