Each year, CEC honors 27 students with disabilities who excel. Since the program’s inception in 1982, thousands of children and youth have been recognized for their achievements in academics, arts, athletics, community service, employment, extracurricular activities, independent living skills, self-advocacy, and technology. The Yes I Can! Awards Ceremony is an extremely moving and poignant event, and a highlight of the CEC Annual Convention & Expo.
